On Monday, June 27, Glenn and Tandra Singfield, as well as their sons Glenn II and Gerald Singfield, were recognized for their contributions to the city of Albany.

The Singfield family was presented with the “Renaissance Award” during the annual Georgia Municipalities Association (GMA) Convention award luncheon in Savannah. The family was presented the award for the development of The Flint Restaurant and their contributions to Albany.

The award recognizes individuals or an organization that has made a significant contribution to the revitalization of one or more downtowns in Georgia.

“Today, the Singfield family represented the City of Albany, Downtown, and our state of Georgia with poise and honor. This high achievement is a celebratory moment that holds such value and extraordinary excitement,” said Lequrica Gaskins, the Downtown Manager.
