The Board of Commissioners will host a Special Called Meeting Tuesday, July 12 at 6 p.m. in the Newton County Historic Courthouse.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed projects for the 2023 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum. The referendum is scheduled to be placed on the Nov. 8 ballot.

Lee County is home to 74 sex offenders registered as of the week ending April 25, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.
