BOC to host SPLOST meeting Tuesday

The Board of Commissioners will host a Special Called Meeting Tuesday, July 12 at 6 p.m. in the Newton County Historic Courthouse.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed projects for the 2023 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum. The referendum is scheduled to be placed on the Nov. 8 ballot.
