CITY OF NEWTON: Newton County offices closed Monday for New Years

City of Newton issued the following announcement on Dec. 28. 

Newton County government offices will close at noon Friday, Dec. 31 and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 4 in observance of New Year’s.

The offices will be closed half a day Friday, and all day Monday, Jan. 3. 

Newton County’s Trash Collection Convenience Centers will be closed Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan.1. The centers will be open Monday, Jan. 3.
