COUNTY OF NEWTON: Primary Runoff voting begins Monday, June 13

County of Newton issued the following announcement on June 8. 

Advance In-Person Voting for the General Primary Runoff Election begins Monday June 13.

In-person voting will be held in banquet room of the Turner Lake Complex, 6183 Turner Lake Road in Covington June 13 through June 17. Times are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

In Newton County, the following offices will be having a Runoff Election:

  • US House District – 10 (Democrat)
  • US House District – 10 (Republican)
  • Lieutenant Governor (Democrat)
  • Secretary of State (Democrat)
  • Commissioner of Insurance (Democrat)
  • Commissioner of Labor (Democrat)

 The Runoff Election Day is Tuesday, June 21 with voting taking place 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at designated precincts. Please visit mvp.sos.ga.gov to find your precinct.
