The Albany Police Department is investigating a homicide at 2706 N Slappey Blvd (Sunrise Inn). It is confirmed that a 48-year-old female was shot in the head and succumbed to her injuries.The suspect left the incident before officers could arrive. The incident happened before 11:00 A.M.
