Newton County Solid Waste Collection Convenience Center Hang Tags for fiscal year 2022-23 may be purchased through their expiration, June 30, 2023, at the Newton County Historic Courthouse, 1124 Clark Street, Covington, GA 30014. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Payment may be made by personal check (no business checks), money order, or credit card. Cash is not accepted. For any credit/debit purchases, a 3.5% processing fee will be applied.

Only Newton County residents are eligible. A current document such as utility bill, mortgage or lease agreement or property tax bill must be presented at the time of hang tag purchase.
