Friday and Saturday, the city of Albany hosted the Peachtree District Albany Robotics Event where 21 teams competed in on-field robot performance as well as for various awards for engineering, creativity, and impact.

DCSS Schools performed well with two district schools, 4C Academy (which went undefeated) and Westover High School, being named event winners. Additionally, 4C won the Autonomous Award for excellence in robotic programming. 

Additionally, Dougherty High School finished in 13th place with six wins and six losses and was asked to join an alliance for the championship round.
