69 percent of applicants to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College were admitted for fall 2018

At Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Tifton enrolled 4,291 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 10 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 69 percent of the 2,389 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 62 percent enrolled.
