County of Lee issued the following announcement on July 23.
Pet up for adoption at the Lee County Animal Shelter!
This is Lenox and she is a 4 year old Bulldog. She is our second oldest resident here at the Lee County Animal Shelter.
Lenox was turned in by her owner back the the first of March.
Lenox needs to find her forever home as the shelter is now over-flowing with dogs. Just look at this sweet face.
For the last 2-3 years all Lennox knew was life at the end of a chain. She is a very sweet girl and loves to have her ears scratched, she also loves having a blanket in her kennel so she can fix it just right before she lays down.
Lennox is spayed already and has a microchip. She did test positive for heartworm but that shouldn't stop someone from giving her a loving home, she deserves that much.
She needs to be the only dog in the home as she isn't fond of sharing any loving.
Lennox's adoption fee is only $40. Stop by and meet her, we know you will fall in love with her.
