County of Lee issued the following announcement on July 27.
Pet of the week at Lee County Animal Shelter!
This sweet lovable boy is Marty, he is a Lab Mix and about 2 years old. He is the sweetest boy and he will make someone a great addition to their family.
Marty did test positive for heartworms but that is easily treated. He weighs 52 lbs. Marty's adoption fee is $120, this covers getting him neutered, rabies shot, heartworm test, and microchip. He has had his yearly distemper and kennel cough vaccines.
