Colquitt County School System issued the following announcement on July 27.
The REACH Scholarship ensures Georgia’s low-income, academically promising students have the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school, access college, and achieve postsecondary success.
Colquitt County Schools has identified 20 REACH Scholars since 2017. Scholarships value to-date is $210,000. Some colleges and universities will double or triple the $10,000 scholarships.
Community support and partnerships are required by the State. Tonight the Colquitt County School Board recognized a great community partner, Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
