City of Newton issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
Newton County has seen an uptick in COVID-19 Cases since late July with recent numbers indicating there has been more than 500 cases in a two-week period.
The increase in numbers has caused both Newton County and the City of Covington to issue mask ordinances in government buildings.
If you are feeling any of the symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed, the following are testing locations in Newton County, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health:
