City of Newton issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
The 2020 Census revealed Newton County has a population of 112,493 people, a growth of 12.5 percent from the previous Census in 2010.
Along with the growth in population came the growth in Census Tracks from 13 in 2010 to 22 in 2020.
Information from the 2020 Census continues to come in, showing things such as breakdown by population, housing, race and more.
