City of Newton issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Newton County Board continues to use Jarrard & Davis as its law firm.
During Newton County’s most recent Board of Commissioners (BOC) meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, an attorney from the County Attorney’s office, Jarrard & Davis, LLP, was not in attendance. Newton County has a strong partnership with Jarrard & Davis and appreciates the legal advice and guidance the firm has provided since the relationship commenced more than five years ago.
Newton County and Jarrard & Davis work together on a daily basis addressing the legal issues facing the County and will continue to do so until such a time as an in-house attorney is hired by the County.
