Sumter County Middle School issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
The “Find Your Spark” Series started at Sumter County Middle School (SCMS) as a collaborative project between The 4-H Youth Development Program and SCMS FFA. Students were introduced to the series early September through an inspiring story and lesson about purpose and being in service to others. Students learned about projecting a positive image to, not only prospective employers, but everyone they meet. Goal setting and how to achieve them both by education and personal development was also a main topic. This session was presented by the Sumter County 4-H Agent, Dr. Crystal Perry and Mr. Brinson Brock, SCMS Agricultural Instructor and FFA Advisor.
