County of Worth issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Worth County will hold a "Tire Amnesty Day" at the Worth County Landfill located at 797 Ephesus Church Road in Poulan, Georgia. The dates and hours will be:
Thursday, November 18th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Friday, November 19th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 20th from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
You must be a Worth County resident to drop off any tires and tires must be off rim.
This is not for commercial disposal.
