County of Dougherty issued the following announcement on Nov. 16.
For the November 6, 2021 Dougherty County incentive based COVID-19 vaccination event, the number of residents in attendance to receive vaccines exceeded the number of gift cards Dougherty County Finance Department had available for the day. As a result, these residents were provided with vouchers to receive their gift card once they came in.
On yesterday, November 15, 2021, gift cards arrived and were validated. Today, those cards will be mailed to the 163 residents via certified mail. Dougherty County extends appreciation to these residents for their patience in waiting while the additional cards arrived to be disbursed to them.
