76.2% of Dougherty County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 86,825 citizens living in Dougherty County in 2021, 76.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 66,143 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 29,677 were male, constituting 44.9%, and 36,466 were female, making up 55.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Dougherty County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
