12.1% of citizens unemployed in Baker County in 2021

Baker County recorded an unemployment rate of 12.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 122 people out of the 2,928 living in Baker County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Baker County has decreased compared to the 14% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Baker County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
