Sumter County Middle School issued the following announcement. 

Congratulations to the SCMS Georgia Movie Academy team for winning the ISTE Award- Innovative Designer for grades 6-8 at the Regional Georgia Movie Academy Award Ceremony March 17, 2022 at Georgia Southwestern State University. During the ceremony, all films submitted for competition by schools in the 15 districts served by Chattahoochee-Flint RESA were played for the crowd to watch, each team was recognized, and then several awards were given.
