Sumter County Middle School issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
Mr. Brinson Brock's Sumter County Middle School (SCMS) Agriculture students have been traveling and competing in area and regional leadership development contests as members of the SCMS Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization. Robert Walker, seventh grader and Vice President of FFA, recently spoke at the Conference Center at Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, Georgia. Walker's presentation was on "Pollinator Protection" which is a theme of the Exploring Ag classroom. Walker has represented his chapter and SCMS school well.
