ABRAHAM BALDWIN AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE: ABAC Newspaper Selects Pacesetters for 2021-22 Academic Year

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College issued the following announcement on June 1. 

The staff of “The Stallion,” the student newspaper at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, has selected one Superior Pacesetter and 10 Pacesetters for the 2021-22 academic year.

Pacesetters are selected annually from ABAC students, faculty, and staff members. These individuals are recognized for their outstanding service to ABAC and its students.

A Pacesetter can be described as someone who doesn’t just do service, but someone who makes ABAC a better place all together. Among those who receive this award, one individual each year receives the Superior Pacesetter Award.

Kimberly Baldwin is the Superior Pacesetter selection. She was picked for remarkable service to the ABAC community and serving during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pacesetter selections included Nyshanti Ross for outstanding service to the student body and ABAC community; Chris Daniels for outstanding service in learning and leadership within the ABAC community; Kyle Basko for outstanding service in leadership and assisting the ABAC community; Amanda Walker for outstanding service and disability advocacy within the ABAC community; Skyla Turner for outstanding community outreach within the ABAC community; Dr. Farish Mulkey for outstanding educational advocacy within the ABAC community; Dr. Sandra Giles for outstanding passion for education within the ABAC community; Kip Hall for outstanding service in providing educational advocacy within the ABAC community; and Kaleb Bell for outstanding service with student momentum within the ABAC community.

Also selected for a Pacesetter was the ABAC Health Center staff which includes Anita White, Administrative Assistant, Kim Baldwin, RN, and Vivian Watson, NP, for outstanding service to the students and staff within the ABAC community.
