“The Eagle of the Month for September is an exemplar model of a student-athlete. She currently holds the school record in the 2 mile, which she broke last year as a freshman. The previous record stood as a school record for over 10 years. Since breaking the school record, she has competed in GHSA Track and Field State Championships as a freshman, qualified for Junior Olympics, and has won every Cross-Country meet in 2022 thus far. She also balances her academic responsibilities by maintaining her grades and passing classes with distinctions. This young lady is also a pleasure to be around! She has great character and leadership skills and is always willing to help others. She is friendly, has a positive attitude, and is a true example of Eagle Excellence!”
