Within education, there are a number of surveys used to gather your feedback. Many of these are required by the Georgia Department of Education. We use the information collected on these surveys to drive decisions about student learning, environments, and family engagement.

Please scroll to complete the surveys for the 2023-2024 school year.

Thank you for your willingness and time to complete the surveys. Your opinion matters!

BCSS NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEYS

This information will be used in school improvement planning for the next school year. The needs assessment begins with soliciting input from all stakeholders about the process of improving our system and schools.

SURVEY FOR FAMILIES

The survey for families will close April 14.

IDEA PARENT SURVEY

The IDEA Parent Survey helps the state to determine parents’ perception of the success of parent engagement between the local school and themselves. The information is gathered as a component of the State Performance Plan, Indicator 8: Percent of parents with a student receiving special education services who report schools facilitated parent involvement as a means of improving results for children with disabilities. The data collected is reported in the Annual Performance Report and on the system profile about each system. Each state is required to conduct a parent survey collection process to measure parent/family needs and perceptions.

COMPLETE IDEA PARENT SURVEY

The survey will be open until May 31. Parents should complete one survey per child.

PARENT CLIMATE STAR SURVEY

Each year, the state of Georgia releases a School Climate Star Rating for every school. We are always striving for a 5-star rating at every school! School climate is measured through four components: student, staff and parent surveys (25%), student discipline (25%), school-wide attendance (25%) and safe and substance-free learning environment (25%). Your survey responses will be to identify areas in need of improvement and contribute to the schools overall Climate Star Rating. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete the survey.

COMPLETE PARENT CLIMATE STAR SURVEY

The survey will close March 17.
