Riley Armant is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University and her master’s degree from the University of Georgia. She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Riley began to explore her passion for journalism as an intern at WBJF News Channel 6 in Augusta, Georgia. Inspired by two women, Deaiddra Griffin, and Jovita Moore, she has pursued her career and currently serves as a news anchor and multimedia journalist for Today in Georgia on WALB News 10. She enjoys working out, listening to music, spending time with her dog, and trying new restaurants. Ms. Armant is classically trained in Ballet and enjoys dancing.
